The first day of the traditional spring festival at Trakya University, which began with a cortege march, was full of enthusiasm, while students experienced unforgettable moments with concerts, folk dances, theater and film screenings, exhibitions, and sports activities held at our various campuses.
On the first day of the 37th Culture, Art, and Sports Festival, the Bast Group, formed by the Faculty of Pharmacy Scientific Research and Art Society, took the stage at the Balkan Campus. On the same day, the "Şahane Düğün" (Magnificent Wedding) theater play, staged by the Thought, Literature, and Theater Society at the Türkan Sabancı Culture Center, garnered great acclaim from the audience.
Another venue for the events was the Ayşekadın Campus. Following the "Kağanlar, Tiginler, Konçuylar" (Khagans, Princes, Concubines) exhibition and folk dance performance prepared by the Ancient Turkish History and Culture Society, a heavy downpour negatively affected some events. However, after the rain stopped, the concerts continued.
Following the Duy Group and İstasyon39 Group concerts, Evrim Kaşıkçı & Yambol Band (guest artist Nikos Grammatidis) took the stage. This concert, which attracted great interest, concluded the night with a DJ Çağrı Baki performance.
On the other hand, the screening of the film "The Sacred Garden" by the Landscape Architecture Student Society at the Faculty of Architecture and the concert by the Mazi (TMT) Group at the Keşan School of Applied Sciences were among the other events of the day
