In a ceremony, Trakya University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hatipler took over the office from the 9th and 10th Term Rector, Prof. Dr. Erhan Tabakoğlu.
Trakya University’s 9th and 10th Term Rector Prof. Dr. Erhan Tabakoğlu started his speech by congratulating the new Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hatipler: “I congratulate Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hatipler from the bottom of my heart. The 11th term Rectorate hopefully starts with our esteemed professor. For 8 years, we have fought through both good and bad days. With our team, we have always tried to move our university forward by making improvements in many areas.” and stated that this job requires sacrifice and great responsibility. Expressing confidence that Hatipler will take Trakya University even further, Tabakoğlu added: “We are proud that our esteemed professor has taken on this duty. May God help and guide him; we will always support him.''
Trakya University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hatipler emphasized that they had worked side by side during Prof. Dr. Erhan Tabakoğlu’s term as Rector, saying, 'I would like to thank both Erhan Hoca and our previous rectors for their services. We know that for us, there is no farewell, only loyalty. Today's meeting is not a farewell but a gathering of loyalty. Just as we have collaborated until now, we will continue this collaboration from today onward.' He expressed his desire to elevate and carry forward the flag he received from Prof. Dr. Erhan Tabakoğlu and affirmed that they will never stop working toward this goal. Rector Hatipler also extended his thanks for the ceremony.
The ceremony ended with the presentation of the seal and gift, followed by a photo session.
