INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE PROGRAMS ERASMUS PARTNER UNIVERSITIES

Erasmus Exchange Program Coordinatorship

The Erasmus Programme a European Union (EU) student exchange programme established in 1987. It forms a major part of the EU Lifelong Learning Programme (2007-2013), and is the operational framework for the European Commission's initiatives in higher education. 
Erasmus Programme has been active under the authority of International Relations Office Erasmus Coordinatorship of Trakya University since April, 2004 after applying the European Commission and getting the Erasmus University Charter which has been renewed in 2007. Mobility Activities via Erasmus Programme run by Trakya University International Relations Erasmus Office are: Student Mobility (SM); Student Mobility for Studies (SMS), Student Mobility for Placements (SMP) and Staff Mobility (ST); Staff Mobility for Teaching Activities (STA), Staff Mobility for Training (STT).
Since 2004-2005 Academic Year via Erasmus Programme in Trakya University; 15 students studied in Greece, 56 in Hungary, 95 in Germany, 45 in Poland, 24 in Bulgaria, 10 in Austria, 15 in Czech Republic, 13 in Italy, 16 in the Netherlands, 10 in England, 5 in Spain, 2 in Belgium, 1 in Denmark, 1 in Slovenia and 9 in France. The incoming students to Trakya University are; 2 from Hungary, 5 from Poland, 10 from Greece, 49 from Bulgaria, 1 from Czech Republic and 1 from Belgium.
From Trakya University 8 lecturers lectures courses in Hungary 4 in Germany, 8 in Poland, 7 in Greece, 19 in Bulgaria, 2 in Austria, 2 in Italy, 1 in the Netherlands, 2 in Spain, 3 in Slovenia, 2 in Belgium and 1 in Finland. 

Lastly, 2 lecturers from Germany, 5 from Poland, 5 from Greece, 49 from Bulgaria, 3 from Czech Republic, 1 from Italy, 1 from Slovenia and 1 from Belgium came to our University in order to give lectures via Erasmus Programme. The following table shows the exchange numbers of the mobilities for the last 9 years.
