Mission
The Faculty of Science aims to train qualified individuals who are effective in the decision
making progress, have professional and scientific capabilities and can think with the scientific criticism. In addition, it aims to become the nationally and regionally leading faculty by our academic studies and scientific research while contributing to the scientific knowledge produced at international and national levels.

Vision
The action lines for future are to update the department's curriculums of the faculty contemporarily and equate the educational output with the international standards on the basis of the present academic level; to progress for the international accreditations; to enrich technical equipment of the laboratories for the improvement of application skills of our students; to encourage academic staff to concentrate on the new projects; to increase the number of projects carried out with the financial support from national and international funds.
