Trakya University continues to develop bilateral relations with universities in the Balkan Countries. A group of 55 students and faculty members from the Department of History of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Shkodra “Luigj Gurakuqi University” visited Edirne and Faculty of Letters, Department of History, with the cooperation of Trakya University and Shkodra Yunus Emre Institute.

 

Within the scope of the visit, made by the head of History Department Prof.Dr. Ömer Soner Hunkan and presented by  Assoc. Dr. Erol Akcan and Lecturer Süheyla Yenidünya, Albania-Turkey relations in the past and now were presented to Albanian students in two-day seminar program.

 

Zafer Kiyici, Director of the Institute of Shkodra Yunus Emre, who came to Trakya University with Albanian students, visited the Rector of Trakya University Prof.Dr. Erhan Tabakoğlu and thanked him for hosting Albanian students at Trakya University.
