Trakya University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Department of Public Administration Lecturer Deniz Eroğlu Utku, visited the Rector Prof.Dr. Erhan Tabakoğlu and presented her book called “Turkey’s Syrians: Today and Tomorrow”. Lecturer Deniz Eroğlu, Lecturer Onur Unutulmaz (Ankara University of Social Sciences) and Dr. Ibrahim Sirkeci (Regent's University, London) prepared together the book, which brings together series of disciplines and is based on examining the situation of Syrian refugees in Turkey and contributions of Syrian refugees since their first visit to Turkey, and issues of a significant interest in national and international field. The book was made by collected articles from a variety of disciplines, and talks about the role of Turkey in preventing refugees who want to travel in Europe. Also the book is looking for an answer to the question, "How will these people be integrated into society?". While the term “refugee” is preferred in the introduction, the use of terms such as asylum seekers / migrants / refugees is left to the authors' approach. During the visit, the Rector Prof. Dr. Erhan Tabakoğlu thanked Lecturer Deniz Utku Eroğlu and wished her success to continue.

The 6th International AGBIOL Conference has begun.
