On the second day of Trakya Career Fair, information was provided to guide tens of thousands of students in their career journey in justice, health, banking and public, logistics, e-commerce, tourism and agriculture, which are the areas that contribute the most to employment. In the sponsorship of Edirne Governorate, Edirne Municipality, Trakya Development Agency and Trakya Birlik, ASELSAN and Kale Seramik, with the support of the Presidential Human Resources Office and in cooperation with Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart, Tekirdag Namık Kemal, Kırklareli and Bandırma Onyedi Eylül Universities, hosted by Trakya University, ‘Trakya Career Fair’ continued with valuable events on the second day.
Within the scope of all-day activities, the Edirne Chief Public Prosecutor's Office organized a panel titled “My Career to become Judge-Prosecutor in Justice / Judicial and Administrative Jurisdiction” and gave advice to young people planning a career in justice. The session titled “Career Opportunities in the Ministry of Health” organized by Edirne Provincial Health Directorate was made by President of Law and Legislation Department of the General Directorate of Public Hospitals of the Ministry of Health Faruk Duymuş, Vice President Hüseyin Kaynar and Human Resources Specialist Rıdvan Genç. On the other side, Vice President of Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) Mehmet İrfan Kurt in the session called "Why Public? Why Private Sector?” shared valuable information with young people who aimed at career and professional development in these two areas. There was also held "Evolving E-Commerce and Employment Opportunities Panel" moderated by Trakya University Havsa Vocational School Director Prof.Dr. Ayhan Aytaç, with the participation of TOBB E-Commerce Assembly Vice President Merter Özdemir, Geleceksin SEN Founder İnci Abay Cansabuncu, Entrepreneur Semih Gümüş and Özer Güngören from Ipara. The other session was “The Future of the Logistics Sector and the Employment Panel” moderated by Trakya Development Agency Secretary General Mahmut Şahin and with participation of MSC Ship Agency Inc. General Manager Barış Dilek, Medlog Logistics Turkey General Manager Ismail Görgün and Asyaport Liman Inc. General Manager Kadir Uzun as speakers. Moderated by Trakya University Faculty of Applied Sciences Tourism Management and Hotel Management Department Head Prof.Dr. Emel Gönenç Güler, where Edirne Culture and Tourism Provincial Director Kemal Soytürk, RYS Hotel owner Murat Tuzcu, Futurist and Experience Designer Dr.Cem Kinay, Head of Trakya University Health Culture and Sports Department Lecturer Burak İşçimen, FOLKTUR Operations Manager Ilham Seyyale participated as speakers, was talked about the situation and future of employment in tourism. In the "Recommendations for Agricultural Employment" panel, moderated by Professor of Trakya University Faculty of Engineering and Director of Plant Breeding Application and Research Center Prof. Dr. Yalçın Kaya, where professors of Trakya University Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tan and Lecturer Necmi Beşer, Edirne Commodity Exchange Council President Fedai Canım, President of Edirne Chamber of Agriculture Hüseyin Arabacı, Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University, Faculty of Agriculture, Deputy Dean Prof.Dr. Murat Deveci and Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Trakya University Prof. Dr. Sadi Uzunoğlu participated as speakers, was discussed about the agriculture and employment in agriculture.
The panel and special sessions hosted by Trakya University, with more than 30 thousand visitors for two days, organized within the scope of the region's largest organization, the Trakya Career Fair, brought a different depth to the event.
