TRAKYA CAREER FAIR BRINGS 20 THOUSAND STUDENTS TOGETHER WITH THE LEADING INSTITUTIONS AND ORGANIZATIONS OF THE SECTOR

The first day of the Trakya Career Fair, which took place under the coordination of the Presidential Human Resources Office, hosted by Trakya University which has the feature of being the largest participating organization in the region, was held with an intense visitor participation. On the first day of the fair, which was held between 24-25 February 2020, approximately 20 thousand students had the opportunity to get information about their career opportunities that will guide their future by visiting the booths set up in three different locations, where public and private sector organizations are located. The fair, organized with the partnership of Trakya University Union, where Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart, Tekirdağ Namık Kemal, Kırklareli and Bandırma Onyedi Eylül Universities are the members, brought together 295 institutions and organizations with thousands of students.
 
IN THE FIRST DAY, 24 SEPARATE PRESENTATIONS WERE MADE AT BALKAN CONGRESS CENTER
 
A total of 119 companies have set up stands in the Balkan Congress Center. In the Balkan Congress Center, where a total of 24 presentations took place in 7 different halls, from information to technology, health to innovation, thousands of students both visited the stands and learned about various sectors by watching their preferred presentations according to their interests. Many different presentations were held on the first day of Trakya Career Fair, such as “Polifarma”, where the presentation was made by Pharmaceutical Industry Training and Development Assistant Manager Ildeniz Aksu. One of the presentations that took place in the Balkan Congress Center on the first day was the Ministry of National Defense, where the presentation was made by Ministry Communications Specialist Murat Kuruyer. The other presentation of the day, was from “Şişecam” and the presentation was made by Human Resources Officer Büşra Erdoğan, where a recruitment interview was shown as a simulation.  On the first day of the fair, “The Cosmos Project Software Education” company made a practical presentation titled “Game of Interview” for students. Another public institution that opened a stand in the Balkan Congress Center was the Edirne Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.  In the presentation, where Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI - TUSAŞ) was promoted, besides the privileges of working at TAI, the opportunities provided by TAI in academic and sportive sense were transferred to students and alumni.
 
5 SEPARATE PRESENTATIONS WERE MADE IN TURKAN SABANCI CULTURAL CENTER WHERE 78 PUBLIC INSTITUTUIONS OPENED THEIR STANDS.
 
On the first day of the fair, a total of 5 presentations were made at the Türkan Sabancı Cultural Center, which includes 78 public institutions and non-governmental organizations. The students showed great interest in the presentations that informed thousands of students and young people about the functioning of public institutions. The first presentation of the day at Türkan Sabancı Cultural Center started with the speech of Aydın Akyürek, Istanbul Regional Manager of the State Materials Office. The second presentation of the day started with the opening speech of Fatih Kuzu, Head of Department of General Directorate of Higher Education and Foreign Education from Ministry of National Education. Another presentation of the day was made by the representatives of the Edirne Chief Public Prosecutor. The fourth presentation of the day, was made by Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Eker. The last presentation of the first day at Türkan Sabancı Cultural Center, was made by Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University Faculty Member and Entoteam founder Assoc. Dr. Özgür Sağlam.
 
STUDENTS MET WITH THE INFORMATION COMPANIES AT THE 75TH YEAR SPORTS HALL
 
In the 75th Year Sports Hall, the stands of technology and software companies, attracted interest of students studying in the field of technical sciences. Students visited the stands of 98 different companies which are mostly operating in software and informatics.
