Graduate student at Trakya University, Department of Physical Education and Sports, World and European Champion Yasemin Adar won the gold medal at the World Wrestling Union Championship. In the “European Wrestling Championship” held in Bucharest, Romania, women in 76 kilos, our national sportswoman Yasemin Adar defeated her Austrian rival Martina Kuent with 6-1 score in the final competition and became the ’European Champion’. The sportswoman also received much acclaim for her performance before the World Wrestling Championships in 2019. In 2016, “European Championship” held in Latvia’s capital Riga, our sportswomen won the gold medal announcing for the first time the name of Turkey and being Turkey's first female wrestling champion in the history of the organization.
OUR UNIVERSITY IS HOSTING ANOTHER IMPORTANT CONFERENCE
The 6th International AGBIOL Conference has begun. The opening ceremony of the International Conference on Agriculture, Biology, and Life Sciences (AGBIOL), organized in cooperation with Trakya University and the International Researchers Association, was held with great participation.
