GERMAN AS A BRIDGE: LINGUISTIC AND CULTURAL COOPERATION BETWEEN ALBANIAN AND TURKISH STUDENTS

A meeting and workshop was held in Kosovo within the scope of the "German as a Bridge Project" initiated between the Department of German Language and Education, Faculty of Education, Trakya University and the Department of German Language and Literature, Faculty of Philology, University of Prishtina.

 

Under the supervision of Assistant Professor Çağlayan Karaoğlu Bircan, 4th grade student Asya Yıldırım; 3rd grade students Perihangül Gözükızıl, Aleyna Nazlı, Öykü Türkmen, Hüsna Firdevs Cevher, Esra Kaya, Burçak Eşsiz and Ece Tosun; Students of the German Language Teaching Undergraduate Program, consisting of 2nd grade student Sabriye Koca and 1st grade student Emir Özen, visited the University of Prishtina and held a scientific meeting and a workshop.

 

In the first phase of the project, which was carried out with the aim of organizing joint linguistic and cultural events in cooperation between the students and faculty of the University of Pristina and the University of Trakya, comparative linguistic and cultural text analysis was carried out based on the idioms in modern Albanian, Turkish and German advertising texts, and scientific workshops were held in German.
