Graduate of Trakya University and a national wrestler Yasemin Adar Yiğit won the 2024 European Wrestling Championships in Romania for the 7th time.
Yasemin Adar Yiğit, a graduate of Institute of Health Sciences Physical Education and Sports Master’s program, won the gold medal in women’s 76 kg at the 2024 European Wrestling Championships held in Bucharest, Romania. National wrestler who has the title of being Türkiye's first female wrestler to win European and World championships celebrated her 7th European medal with joy.
Representing Türkiye in European Wrestling Championships, national wrestler Adar Yiğit defeated Ukranian Anastasiia Shustova with 12-1 technical superiority and won the gold medal.
In addition to her 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022 and 2023 championships, she expanded her collection with the 2024 medal.
