Trakya University which is the most important higher education institution of the Balkans with its educational services, also continues to work between Turkey and the Balkans for the development of trade and economic relations. In accordance with these studies, Trakya University International Relations Application and Research Center Director Assoc. Dr. Murat Türkyılmaz and Trakya Teknopark A.Ş. General Manager Barış Kocabıyık, attended the meeting held in Pristina by Kosovo Businessmen Association. In addition to the delegation of Trakya University, Salih Akbulut, Edirne Provincial Director of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, Provincial Director of KOSGEB Veysel Vural and Technopark and KOSGEB representatives also attended.

In the meeting where Kreshnik Thaqi, Director General of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Kosovo, made a presentation Assoc. Dr. Murat Türkyılmaz introduced Trakya University. Trakya Teknopark A.Ş General Manager Barış Kocabıyık, gave information about Trakya University Edirne Technology Development Zone.

After the meeting, which ended with the question and answer session, Kosovo business people decided to visit Trakya University in relation to the steps to be taken in the joint projects to be implemented.

After the meeting, our delegation visited UTB University in Kosovo and Rector Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi and met with the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning Dr. Lulzim Bekiri.
