The "Project Cafe," implemented within Trakya University to support the development of project ideas and their transformation into qualified, sustainable projects, has opened.
The opening, held at the Rectorate Cafeteria, was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hatipler, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ahmet Muzaffer Demir, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tan, Prof. Dr. Eylem Bayır, and Prof. Dr. Sedat Üstündağ, along with other administrators and academics of our University.
Delivering the opening speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sertaç Arabacıoğlu, Director of the Project Coordination Application and Research Center, provided information to the participants regarding the purpose and operation of the Project Cafe, as well as its contributions to project development processes within the university.
Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ahmet Muzaffer Demir, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tan, Prof. Dr. Eylem Bayır, and Prof. Dr. Sedat Üstündağ stated that the Project Cafe application will play an important role in increasing the university's project goals and thanked all units and individuals who contributed to the process.
In his speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hatipler emphasized that the Project Cafe application was implemented with a holistic approach. Stating that all units of the University were visited individually within this scope, Rector Hatiplerexpressed that this work paved the way for the emergence of many qualified projects. Noting that moving Trakya University forward from its current position is a shared responsibility, Rector Hatipler highlighted that the knowledge and experience to achieve this goal exist within the University and wished for the meetings to be held within the scope of the Project Cafe to be productive.
Subsequently, certificates of appreciation were presented to the academics who participated in the Project Development and Writing Training Program for Academic Units conducted by the Project Coordination Application and Research Center.
Operating with the slogan "Coffee is on Us, Ideas are from You," the Project Cafe offers a meeting environment based on consultancy and idea sharing, strengthening interdisciplinary interaction by bringing together academics, researchers, and all stakeholders with project ideas. Within the scope of the application carried out in cooperation with the Project Coordination Application and Research Center, the Technology Transfer Application and Research Center, and the Trakya University Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit (TÜBAP), the goal is to provide institutional support for project development processes within the University and contribute to the emergence of qualified, sustainable projects.
